Hull is a real surprise to any tourist, with its cosmopolitan city centre, colourful seaside resorts and miles of tranquil countryside. But for us locals, it's no surprise, as Hull boasts so many things to see and do, so much more than just The Deep (which is marvellous, but it's not all there is in Hull!).

As you arrive, you will see the most incredible landmark in the whole of the UK - the Humber Bridge. The seventh longest bridge in the world, it was actually the longest when it was completed in 1981. It frames the river Humber wonderfully and marks the entrance to a bright and interesting city. They also have the famous 'Airfix' plane, which used to sit outside the factory in Hull where they made the paint for Airfix models.
